There is a hugely significant number of religions that are around the entire world. This is inclusive of the denominations, churches, religious movements, faith groups, and cultures. However, three-quarters of the world population is surrounded by five common religions. They entail the Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism. they all carry out their own beliefs differently. The differences in this makes it also evident in how they name and accord meaning to God. They call God in many different names which carry different meaning according to each.
The Christian religion, for example, is one of the largest communities. Christians believe in one God who created everything. They have several reference names used to describe him, and some of them are savior, creator, father, messiah, protector, among others. Their God is true and desires a personal relationship with people who believe in Him. Jesus is mentioned and referred to as the son of their God yet God himself many different names. there are numerous denominations around this that people set themselves in. in some instances, he is called Jehovah. The Christians believe in the Bible as the spoken and written word of God through which he speaks to them. they draw teachings, lessons, wisdom, and beliefs, and values from the Bible. Christians also believe in the promise of the life after death through the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the son of God many different names.
The other religion is Judaism, which is known to be a Hebrew version of Christianity. It is a common religion among the Jews and Hebrews though their population is not that big many different names. They call God Yahweh which in simple words means the lord. In some other instances they call him Hashem and Elohim among many.
The Muslims are the next, and they refer to God as Allah. Their belief and understanding are that Allah is a superior being with huge power. They have other names totaling to ninety-nine that refer to the same God. Hindu is the last in this line, and they believe in a spiritual being whom they call Shiva. This is illustrated with many arrows that point many directions to signify the manifestation of their god. They have several religious gods and goddesses that are manifested in their temples, rivers, idols, and animals among others. They believe that God allows them to trust the Shiva in guiding them through life. Other names include Vishnu, which means the preserver and Ganapati who is the mover of obstacles. You can never have enough of religion because of these differences and many different names that are evident from one community to another.
